Sami Yetik

Turkish impressionist painter Sami Yetik (1878 - 1945) received his painting education from important painters such as Osman Nuri Pasha in Kuleli Military High School, Hoca Ali Rıza in Mekteb-i Harbiye and Salvatore Valeri and Zarzecki in Sanayi-i Nefise. The main theme of his paintings, which he painted in an impressionist style with thick paint texture, wide brush strokes, light color tones, was the landscapes from Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa and Edirne.
