Ludwig Lanckow

 

Ludwig Lanckow (1845 - 1908) was a German artist from the Düsseldorf School of Painting. Lanckow studied painting at the Royal Prussian Art Academy in Düsseldorf. He then worked in the Willingshausen painters' colony from 1875 to 1892 and became a member of the artist group “Der Schwalm”. Ludwig Lanckow dealt exclusively with landscape painting. He participated several times in art exhibitions in Hanover, Cologne, Bremen, Berlin, Vienna and Breslau.
