Henry John Yeend King

British Victorian painter Henry John Yeend King (1855 – 1924) took lessons from Victorian artist William Bromley. He then went to Paris to study with Leon Bonnat and Fernand Cormon. His academic training in Paris helped shape his mature, carefully modeled figures, plein air technique, and bold coloring style.
