Feyhaman Duran

Turkish painter Feyhaman Duran (1886 - 1970) went to Paris in 1910 and took the first painting lessons from Paul Richet at the School of Fine Arts. Like many artists of his time and generation, Feyhaman Duran, who has produced works in landscape, still life and portrait paintings with a semi-academic and half-impressionist understanding, is especially known for his portraits that successfully reflect the physical structure of his model and are based on a strong understanding of color.
