Eugene Remy Maes

 

Eugene Remy Maes (1849 - 1931) was an Belgian animal painter. He was a student at the Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles. After completing his studies, he painted almost exclusively animals such as sheep and cattle, but mainly poultry such as chickens and pigeons.
