Eugene Flandin
Jean-Baptiste Eugène Napoléon Flandin (1809 - 1889), French orientalist, painter, archaeologist, and politician. Flandin's archeological drawings and some of his military paintings are valued more highly by museum authorities than his purely artistic paintings.
