Turkish Impressionist Painter Elçi Erdiren was born in 1962 in Izmir. After studying at Ted Ankara and Istanbul Kadıköy Maarif College, the artist entered the Naval Academy and also completed the Department of Economics at Anadolu University. He received his first art education in his grandfather Şükrü Erdiren's workshop.
