Alexis Auguste Delahogue

Alexis Auguste Delahogue (1867 - 1950) is a French orientalist painter. He paints with Eugene, his twin brother. Both are devoted to landscapes and genre scenes borrowed from the Maghreb, which they travel in all directions with a predilection for Algeria. Alexis Delahogue was more of a draftsman than a painter. His drawings were taken up by engravers. He would have worked for the Baccarat crystal
